Dirt! Reflection
The movie dirt displays the most important aspects of the substance we call dirt. Many consider dirt
to be similar to trash, it's just there but it is not needed. What people don't understand is that dirt provides
many ecologic benefits to us and the economy. Just like us, the dirt can also be recognized as something living.
There are very small microorganisms in dirt that provide nutrients to grow our plant life. Depending on how
rich the dirt. is, is dependent on the amount of microorganisms present in the dirt. What I found interesting
about this film is that people cried and committed suicide about being in debt due to the pressure of buying
better farming materials and technology. This along with how the dirt is considered "living" is also surprising to
me.
