1. What are some reasons why the concentration of lead is so high in New Orleans soil?
The lead concentrated. Lead is not easy to take and extract from the environment once its in.
2. Would you expect a difference between New Orleans and New York City soil?
Yes due to the population difference and the amount of industry.
3. Would you expect a difference between New Orleans and the soil in a very small, rural town?
Yes, A huge difference. Rural towns don't have industries make products containing lead.
4. What precautions could Patty take to minimize her exposure to lead?
Wear a make and a hazmat suit to keep lead from exposing her through inhaling and exposure.
5. Should Patty stay and help the rescue effort or should she quit her job?
She should stay as it would benefit the people of the area. I think that should should take extra
precautions just incase.
